Steps for Installing Custom Roms on LG G PRO F240 L,S,K

This method is only for installing and flashing custom roms of CWM clock mode recovery and for TWRP roms on LG G PRO F240 L/S/K android 4.4.2 kitkat. You can also install roms on Lollipop 5.01 but you have to root and install CWM on it.

This method shows how to root and then install cwm and then install rom on kitkat . If you are unable to root 5.0.1 Lollipop you can downgrade to 4.4.2 kitkat using this flash procedure

Steps for Installing Custom Roms on LG G PRO F240 L,S,K

Pre-requisites & Requirements

1. LG G Pro with Android 4.4.2 firmware– (Ensure correct device model and firmware; Check device model – Go to Settings -> About Device -> Model Number)

2. Custom roms Search for custom roms for your device and download . You can find many custom roms from XDA Click Here

3. Move custom rom zip file to your mobile SD card

4. Root your phone using this method  Root LG G PRO F240 L,S,K Android 4.4.2 Kitkat if you already have rooted your phone then skip this step.

5. Install Cwm using this method Install CWM Recovery Rooted LG G PRO F240 L/S/K Kitkat 4.4.2 if you already have installed cwm in your phone then skip this step.

Instructions For Installing Custom rom F240

1. Get in the Recovery Mode by opening  GPRO Recovery 6.0.4.4 in your phone and select Reboot Recovery.

You can also reboot in recovery mode by turn OFF your phone then switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Power buttons together.

2. Now select perform a full data wipe by selecting “wipe data/factory reset” use power button for selecting.. see screen shot

3. Do a cache wipe by selecting “wipe cache partition” see screen shot

4. Go to advanced and select wipe dalvik cache .

5. Go to main menu and select  select install zip from SD card Now select choose zip from sdcard and navigate through and select the zip rom file which you have and downloaded and moved to your phone.

6. Install and follow the instructions and you will be able to install the custom rom. You can do the above procedure to install as many time the custom roms. You can revert back any time to your official stock rom using this method How to Flash .KDZ LG F240 F180 F160 LG G Pro
